For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 5 – Agent Platform AI Platform to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $466,000 – $750,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the Agent SDK and MCP Gateway for the company engineers
- Develop agent infrastructure covering the entire lifecycle from planning to deployment and day-2 operations
- Integrate quality evaluation into the platform by building tools for measuring and improving agent performance
- Ensure reliability and observability for scalable, non-deterministic systems
- Lead initiatives collaborating with ML scientists, data scientists, and product managers
- Rapidly iterate user feedback to enhance developer experience and foundational capabilities
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering quality results
- Hands-on experience with building, deploying, operating, and evaluating LLM agents in production environments
- Familiarity with agent frameworks/SDKs such as Strands, OpenAI Agents SDK, or equivalent tools
- Experience in creating evaluation suites, tracing, and quality measurement for LLM agents
- Strong background in developing SDKs and APIs for both internal and external developers
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java, Go, C/C++, Rust, or Zig
