We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to serve as a hands-onquality engineering contributor, embedded within Wealth Technology delivery teams and accountable for building robust automated testing solutions across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
Role Summary
This role is a senior individual contributor position focused on test automation, quality engineering, and software validation in a regulated, production critical environment.
You will design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks, partner closely with developers and product teams, and act as a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle. This position emphasizes engineering driventesting, not manual execution, or people management.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain **automated test frameworks** for frontend, backend, and API driven systems
- Build and execute **automated test suites** covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
- Partner closely with application developers, product managers, and platform engineers to embed **quality early in the SDLC**
- Validate system behavior across **wealth custody, clearing, trading, and servicing workflows**
- Create and maintain **test data strategies** that support repeatable, reliable automated testing
