Curious about what’s next?
So are we. Join Compare the Market and help to make financial decision making a
breeze for millions.

At Compare the Market, we’re a purpose-driven business powered by tech and AI.
We’re building high-performing, results-driven teams with the skills, mindset,
and ambition to deliver outcomes at pace. Every role here plays a part in
driving our mission forward, and we create an environment where you can bring
your authentic self, grow a truly characterful career, and see the direct impact
of your work on the lives of our customers.

We’ve carved a meerkat-shaped niche and we’re looking for ambitious, curious
thinkers who thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. If you love
accountability, embrace challenge, and want to make a real difference, you’ll
fit right in.

We’d love you to be part of our journey.
As Senior Product Designer, you will design complex, business-critical customer
journeys, working closely with Product, Engineering, Research and Content
colleagues. You are accountable for the quality of your design and for showing
its customer and commercial impact.

You will turn our design strategy into hands-on delivery for priority
initiatives, and you will help us adopt AI in how we design, so that we deliver
faster while maintaining quality. You will use design judgement, influence
stakeholders and support other designers through mentoring and critique.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend most of your time designing, and the
rest sharing your craft and raising standards across the team.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:

•Design complex customer journeys from framing the problem through to evaluating
the outcome.

•Take part in sprint planning, so that your work is delivered on time to a
consistently high standard.

•Use AI tools in your design workflow to improve speed and quality, following
guardrails for accuracy and accessibility.

•Agree customer and commercial success measures with Product and Analytics, and
use research and experimentation, working closely with research and content
colleagues, to evaluate outcomes and drive improvement.

•Work with Product and Engineering partners on experience trade-offs, so we
deliver efficiently without compromising the customer experience.

•Contribute to the design system as we move to a new one, and support its
adoption alongside accessibility standards, with a focus on quality and reuse.

•Take part in regular design critiques and mentor other designers.

What we’d like to see from you:

•A track record of designing complex, end-to-end journeys, with a portfolio
showing hands-on ownership and measurable customer and commercial impact.

•Experience of using AI tools in a design workflow to improve output without
reducing quality.

•Experience of working in agile teams and taking part in sprint planning.

•Good judgement in ambiguous situations, and the ability to influence
stakeholders.

•Strong interaction and visual design skills, with experience of working within,
contributing to or migrating design systems.

•Fluency in Figma, and in research and experimentation methods.

•Experience of mentoring or supporting the development of other designers.

•Experience in regulated or high-volume transactional journeys, such as
financial services or e-commerce.

•Experience working closely with content design and user research.

Why Compare the Market?

We’re a business built for pace and performance. Here, you’ll be encouraged to
think differently, act boldly, and deliver brilliantly in a culture that values
results and rewards progress.

We believe diverse teams make better decisions, and we’re committed to creating
an inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to grow, contribute, and
thrive.

If you’re ready to stretch yourself, raise the bar, and grow with a team that’s
serious about performance, innovation, and purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
