About The Role
We are seeking an engineer to join our Developer Productivity team. In this role, you will contribute to our vision to revolutionize our developer experience for the entire engineering team by creating comprehensive systems, automated tools and extensible frameworks that facilitate the entire software development and release lifecycle. You will work closely with all engineering teams and other key stakeholders to build out our secure, multi-tenant tools and services that enable delivery of new business opportunities across Confluent Cloud and Platform, including Connect, kSQL/Flink, Kafka and more. You are not confined to the status quo and can leverage your expertise in cloud-native, large-scale distributed systems to help take our platform to industry leading.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement source code repository management tools, build automation, artifact management, containerization solutions, and other foundational services for all Confluent products.
- Buildout and manage the CI/CD services and end-to-end pipelines for both our cloud and on-premise platforms.
- Identify and solve inefficiencies in our services and tools to improve engineering productivity while automating everything.
