Senior Software Engineer

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $158,000 – $180,000 annually


Responsibilities

• Build high-performance, secure, and scalable applications for clients and clinicians
• Integrate new architectures, frameworks, and technologies to enhance software quality
• Collaborate with team members to improve existing systems with new features
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their workflows and translate needs into applications
• Architect software tailored to improve the client care journey and therapeutic experience
• Develop innovative solutions to reshape the mental health industry

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of experience in software engineering focused on scalable product development
• Experience in a startup environment emphasizing ownership and agility
• Proficiency in technology stack including Node/Express and Python/Django or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative and low ego
