## Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking a highly skilled and motivated *Senior R&D Software Engineer* to join our *Research & Development* team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the *Senior Director of R&D, Electronic Warfare* and lead the software design and implementation for next-generation Networked Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
The successful individual in this role will bridge the gap between complex embedded real-time processing and distributed network architectures, developing robust software that coordinates sensing and effects across multiple platforms. This position requires a strong foundation in modern software engineering practices, including DevOps and CI/CD, and the ability to collaborate effectively within multi-organizational engineering teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
