Job Description

The Senior Project Manager of Education, Continuing Medical Education (CME) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing a portfolio of accredited continuing medical education activities from concept through post activity evaluation. This role ensures that all educational initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in full compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and certification requirements. The Senior Project Manager partners closely with physician faculty, planners, accreditation staff, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support the organization’s strategic educational mission. The Senior Project Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to independently drive execution across multiple complex initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Education.

- Planning and Initiation
- Develop clear project charters for each CME activity, defining purpose, objectives, success criteria, scope, assumptions, constraints, timelines, and key stakeholders.
- Translate educational goals, accreditation requirements, and organizational priorities into clearly defined project scope statements that minimize scope creep while preserving educational quality.
