About the role
Nordhealth is building the future of veterinary practice management software. Provet is used by thousands of clinics across Europe and beyond, including some of the largest veterinary groups in the world - and we're just getting started.
When a clinic decides to move to Provet, it can take months before they are properly up and running. Twenty years of clinical and financial history has to come across from their old system. The practice has to be configured to match how they actually work. And their team has to be confident enough to open on Monday morning and treat animals without thinking about the software. Today, most of that depends on expert hands.
That is the problem you will own: getting clinics up and running faster. Part of what makes it hard is that our largest groups can't yet run Provet centrally, so too much gets configured site by site. That's why this role covers enterprise admin too.
We think the answer is mostly product. Sensible defaults, so that most clinics work well from the moment they open the box. Simpler configuration, so that setting up a practice does not require someone who has done it fifty times before. And none of it at the cost of depth - Provet is a powerful system used all day by people who know it inside out, and that is exactly why they choose us. Less complexity, same capability.
This is a high-visibility role with a clear goal and a hard problem behind it. Every week of setup is a week a practice spends straddling two systems, and a week before they get any of the value they signed up for! 🚀

What You'll Own
Own the problem space for how clinics get set up, and the two numbers that go with it: how long it takes, and how well it goes.
Own your roadmap. You decide what your team works on, based on what you learn from customers, from the people who do this work today, and from the data. We agree the outcome with you and then get out of your way.
Lead a cross-functional squad. You'll work day to day with engineers and designers, bringing them into the problem rather than handing over specs. The best ideas here will come from the engineer who knows every setup script and the designer who watched a practice manager set up their team’s rota for the first time.
Work the way good product teams work. Test a hypothesis, ship something small, learn from it, go again. There is no silver bullet here - this gets solved by a lot of small improvements across different parts of the product, and part of the skill is spotting and sequencing them well. We would rather put something imperfect in front of ten clinics next month than a perfect plan in front of a steering group.
Treat internal teams currently managing onboarding as your first customer. Implementation, support and customer success have years of knowledge and a whole layer of scripts and internal tools they built to make setup manageable. Shadow their work, build the measurement that shows where setup actually gets stuck, and redesign the product so those workarounds are no longer needed.
Make it work for a single clinic and a group with hundreds of sites. They arrive in completely different ways. For groups, enterprise admin is yours: decide what's controlled centrally, what cascades down to regions and sites and what stays local, then build one consistent way of doing that across the product rather than another one-off.
Keep everyone honest - your team, your stakeholders and leadership - with a clear read on progress, risk and what you have chosen not to do.
What We're Looking For
This is a senior role and we are setting the bar high. We need someone who has worked on a problem like this before and can get moving quickly.
Experience
3+ years in product management, including time in B2B software.
You have owned a complex, cross-cutting domain - and turned a manual, expert-dependent process into a product.
You have owned admin, hierarchy or multi-site configuration for B2B customers with complex organizational structures.
You have delivered initiatives that depended on other teams, with real deadlines and visible stakes.
You have built strategy in ambiguous situations rather than executing someone else's plan.
Skills and Mindset
An instinct for ruthless simplification.
You read workarounds as evidence. A script or a spreadsheet is rarely the right answer, but it almost always points at the real gap in the product. The workarounds got us here, and the next step is building them into the product.
The background and judgment to lead a team through hard technical problems. You are not the architect and you do not need to write code, but you have delivered difficult technical work before and you know what good looks like well enough to steer it.
An operator's instinct for efficiency. You ar...
