Role:

Accountable for the planning and execution of medium to high complexity business application projects within the TBE organization. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and set expectations for delivery of specific technology initiatives. He/She will coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring that all relevant parties are involved, consulted, or informed. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the internal teams of business analysts, solution architects, development teams and QA teams for delivery of these initiatives.

Responsibilities:

·         Work with Program Directors and Business Architects to ensure appropriate delivery expectations are set with the stake holders

·         Plan and set milestones for technology initiatives by getting and enforcing commitments from business analysts, solution architects, development and QA staff

·         Manage impediments in delivery, its reporting to stakeholders and TBE leaders and escalations as needed

·         Work with PMO to ensure projects are following appropriate governance guidelines

·         Take overall responsibility for delivery including vendor relationship when using external contractors/consultants

·         Help resolve conflicts or dependencies that put projects at risk, including technical tradeoffs and work with other PMs to sequence delivery of initiatives

·         Provide periodic updates to stakeholders, leaders and business executives, tailoring the message to their specific audiences

Skill Sets / Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields

·         8+ years of experience managing technology projects across business application platforms with a history of growth in responsibility and ownership
