An organization is automating the manual process enterprises use to calculate R&D tax credits and capitalize software costs. Their software ingests data from project management, identity management, and payroll systems, leveraging AI to complete in hours what previously took weeks or months of manual work for U.S. businesses. The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer role focuses on building products that automate enterprise accounting and finance processes, starting with a software capitalization product that tracks development costs as assets for compliance and financial reporting. The company operates fully remote, preferring hires in overlapping time zones with its Mountain View, CA headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and product teams to evaluate requirements, scope projects, estimate effort, and prioritize impactful work

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications for both external customers and internal use

• Build scalable data ingestion pipelines processing millions of records from diverse sources such as Jira, Github, payroll systems, and accounting software

• Design flexible data models to accommodate various company types, industries, and business processes

• Develop integrations by reading API documentation and handling quirks of third-party systems

• Deliver customer-facing features supporting monthly capitalization workflows for finance teams

• Build internal tools to assist in system operation and debugging

• Maintain automated testing and deployment processes to ensure system robustness

• Review code from other engineers and provide timely, constructive feedback

• Troubleshoot critical issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of professional full-stack development experience
