What You'll Do

This is a full-time independent contractor role. Candidates must commit exclusively to this position and may not engage in other part-time or freelance work once hired.

We're hiring a senior developer to help build and maintain our client portal, the platform at the center of how we deliver our services. Our team and our clients both use the portal. It connects to the systems our clients already run their businesses on, including accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online, CRMs, and project management and other operating systems. It organizes their financial and project data, then turns that data into the reporting, workflows and tools behind our accounting, payroll and HR, project accounting, and advisory services.

The portal brings together:

• **Financial reporting and analytics:** client dashboards and reports built on accounting, CRM and project data.
• **System integrations and data management:** integrations and sync jobs that connect client accounting systems, CRMs and operating systems, keeping data accurate, consistent and stored in one place.
• **Contract management and invoicing:** intake of contracts, change orders and budgets, plus project billing and month-end close for client contracts.
• **Financial forecasting:** budgets, cash flow forecasts and budget-to-actual reporting.
• **Internal workflows:** reviews, reconciliations and processes that cut manual work for our accounting team.
