As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will help build and evolve scalable infrastructure powering real-time voice and messaging experiences. You will take ownership of key platform components, contributing across frontend applications and backend services. Working in a collaborative, remote-first engineering environment, you will influence architectural decisions and drive high-quality software delivery. You will also help strengthen development practices, including the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools. Through technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on problem-solving, you will contribute to platform reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability. ### Accountabilities

You will lead the development and continuous improvement of full-stack platform capabilities, taking responsibility for technical quality and reliable delivery from initial design through production.

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack functionality across frontend applications and backend API services.
• Own features and systems throughout their lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, release, production support, and incident response.
• Lead architecture discussions and make pragmatic technical decisions that balance delivery speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging while maintaining code correctness and quality.
• Help establish safe practices and review standards for AI-generated code.
