The Canadian Tire FP&A team plays a critical role in enabling strong financial performance in an evolving retail environment. Reporting to the Manager , FP&A Petroleum & Partnerships , you will partner closely with the Petroleum team to understand results, deliver actionable insights, and influence business decisions.
This role combines financial analysis, business partnering, and storytelling with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and building scalable FP&A tools that enhance the quality and efficiency of our deliverables.
What you’ll do
- Manage and take ownership of the end to end forecasting and budgeting process by collaborating with the Petroleum business and other functional groups across the organization
- Translate complex financial information into clear, insightful commentary for financial and non ‑ financial stakeholders.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and support long ‑ term outlook planning aligned to strategic priorities.
- Build and enhance financial models that enable faster, more reliable, and more insightful analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives t o streamline reporting, forecasting, and month ‑ end processes

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years business experience in an analytical field and solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements)
