Senior Data Engineer

The Role

• Design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for Science Analysts, particularly in the Equity space
• Work within the Science Research Technology team to enhance data capabilities
• Contribute to a highly sophisticated, well-managed technology platform
• Debug, optimize, and performance-tune high-volume data pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, researchers, and business partners

What You'll Need

• Strong experience in Data Science and programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows using tools like Airflow or Glue
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, especially AWS (S3, Lambda, Batch)
• Experience with modern data architectures such as Snowflake, DataBricks, or Fabric
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, and metadata management best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, containerization (Docker), and modern software engineering practices
