Senior Business Analyst (Banking & Financial Services experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst
with a strong background in
Banking and Financial Services
to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing data, mapping business processes, facilitating workshops, and supporting Agile software delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and SQL for validating business data.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban software development methodologies.
• Experience creating process flows, workflow diagrams, and business documentation using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements elicitation sessions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise banking platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of financial products, banking operations, or payment systems.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Technology Teams, and Business Stakeholders.
• Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
• Agile or Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe, Scrum) are a plus.
