We're working with a Mechanical Contractor who are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead the successful delivery of complex
BSL-3, BSL-4, and High-Containment Continuity Laboratory (HCCL)
construction projects valued up to
$180M
.

In this role, you'll oversee all phases of project execution—from preconstruction and procurement through commissioning and closeout—while managing multidisciplinary teams, project finances, safety, quality, and client relationships. You'll provide technical leadership for specialized mechanical systems, including HVAC, process piping, HEPA filtration, laboratory utilities, building automation, and containment infrastructure critical to high-containment laboratory environments.

You'll lead an onsite team of 10+ professionals, coordinate with owners, contractors, designers, and commissioning teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead high-value BSL-3/BSL-4 laboratory construction projects from planning through turnover.
• Manage specialized mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, HEPA filtration, and containment systems.
• Oversee project teams, subcontractors, BIM coordination, commissioning, and quality assurance.
• Drive project safety, financial performance, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Build strong relationships with owners, design teams, and key project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with rigorous laboratory containment, commissioning, and regulatory requirements.
