The USRM Casualty Insights & Solutions (I&S) department is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst within the Ops team to focus on Operational Excellence in staffing accuracy, liability investigation accuracy, and other critical workstreams! The I&S group brings together highly talented thinkers and doers ready to challenge the status quo and make an impact. As a member of this cross-functional group, you’ll collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver analysis that unlocks insights and sparks new, better ways of working.
The Casualty Ops team plays a critical role in achieving Casualty’s key initiatives aligned to our overall business plan to score more ACES (Accuracy, Care, Ease & Speed). The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Casualty claims handling best practices in attorney represented, complex and litigated claims, the ability to apply both
a broad/strategic lens and zoom in on ground level details, as well as strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Field and OneTeam to ensure that Casualty achieves our financial plan and commitments on aligned initiatives through tactical execution.
- Sustain and evolve best in class Casualty staffing model, investigation processes, SIU engagement & partnership, and compliance/regulatory changes.
- Collaborate (may be in partnership with Process or other stakeholders) to develop, implement, sustain, and reinforce new claims handling tools and processes.
- Assess business health at a "local" or state level and monitor KPIs or other key measures of success. Assessments may include trend identification & data analysis, complex problem solving, and development and communication of action plans focused on behavior changes.
