Senior Azure Engineer - DevOps Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer - DevOps Specialist in Charlotte, NC.


Duties:

• Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Build and maintain Terraform modules for scalable, repeatable deployments
• Develop CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and Azure-native tooling
• Automate cloud operations using Python and Bash scripting
• Support Kubernetes-based container orchestration in Azure environments
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks across cloud ecosystems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce DevOps best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with senior-level ownership
• Strong hands-on Terraform experience in production environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Solid understanding of CloudFormation and multi-cloud architecture principles
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure; AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus
• Advanced GitHub automation experience (GitHub Actions required)
• Solid background in shell scripting for deployment and maintenance tasks
• Expertise of CI/CD
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for infrastructure automation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
