Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

About this role

job summary: Strong proficiency in Java 11+ (Java 17+ preferred). Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security. Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or JMS. Understanding of OWASP secure coding practices.

responsibilities: Build, implement, and maintain Java-based applications using modern Java (11-21+). Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing solutions. Optimize performance, troubleshoot defects, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver features. Work on CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments. Write unit, integration, and functional tests. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and security standards. Provide on-call or production support as required.

qualifications: 7-10+ years of professional software development experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
