Role Overview:

One of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, is seeking an experienced Accounting Expert to oversee financial processes and ensure robust accounting practices. This is a part-time contractor role that offers the opportunity to work remotely and leverage advanced expertise to drive financial integrity and support business objectives. As an Accounting Expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful analysis and supporting financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting using cloud-based accounting platforms

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations

• Perform month-end close and cash flow management, and track expenses to ensure financial stability

• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvement and automation initiatives

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective financial management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms, such as Akaunting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting

• Experience with general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and cash flow management

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work independently
