We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant specializing in NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and Freight Forwarding operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly, including bank reconciliations and account analyses, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions specific to NVOCC and freight forwarding activities, including processing invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing procedures
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making within the logistics operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance accounting standards .
• Assist in internal audits by providing documentation for account reconciliations, audit trail reviews, and compliance checks.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in accounting procedures, technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, VLOOKUP functions in Excel data analysis, and financial report writing.
