Senior Accountant – Manufacturing & SAP (Individual Contributor)

We are partnering with a
global LED manufacturing company
with North American operations in Southern California to hire a
Senior Accountant
. This is a
hands-on individual contributor role
with high visibility and exposure to multinational operations and U.S. IPO readiness.

This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong accountant who enjoys execution, problem-solving, and working closely with SAP in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare financial reports in accordance with
US GAAP
- Perform cost accounting activities including BOM analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances
- Act as a
power user of SAP ERP (FI/CO)
to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
- Support SOX compliance efforts and external audit requests
- Coordinate intercompany transactions with international entities
- Communicate with Asia-based headquarters in
English and Mandarin

Qualifications:

- 8–12+ years of accounting experience, ideally in
electronics or automotive manufacturing
- Advanced hands-on SAP ERP experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Solid
Cost Accounting
experience including
BOM
analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances
(required)
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (required)
- CPA or CMA preferred
- IPO preparation experience is a huge plus
- Experience in multinational environments strongly preferred
