The Senior Accountant II, will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional with broad accounting expertise, strong systems and process knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving global environment. This role requires a collaborative team player who is eager to contribute across multiple accounting functions while continuously improving processes and supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly financial reporting and close activities.
- Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries.
- Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Review and analyze profit and loss accounts, identifying transactions requiring reclassification to the balance sheet.
- Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with IFRS and company accounting policies.
- Support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform financial analysis, develop reporting schedules, and validate data accuracy through advanced spreadsheet modeling.
- Conduct actual-to-budget and variance analyses, providing meaningful insights to management.
