About this role
- UTA seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, who will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Technical Accounting Group (CTAG) team with all financial reporting deliverables and technical matters
- This individual will support the CTAG team in all manners relevant to the maintenance of a GAAP accounting environment at UTA and collaborate closely with the rest of the corporate accounting and finance teams
- Assist in preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, quarterly covenant calculations and reporting, and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures
- Support month-end and year-end close processes for consolidation, including preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations for complex transactions, including but not limited to, share-based compensation, intangibles, and contingent consideration
- Assist with maintaining the UTA’s technical accounting policies and procedures
- Research and review technical accounting questions and impact to the Company
- Support the external audit process
- Assist with special projects as needed

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Senior level with a strong track record of technical accounting and research experience
- 3+ years of complex technical accounting experience; including at least 1+ year from a Big 4 public accounting firm
- CPA license is strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will also be considered
