Senior Accountant – Pasadena, CA (onsite)

Essential Functions

• Investment company functions:
• Maintain books and records for partnership books.

Responsibilities include:

• Record operating and investment activities in partnership books
• Record bank activities in general ledger and reconcile bank accounts monthly
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly
• Assist with monthly close procedures, including the closing of intercompany accounts and consolidation of selected companies
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Prepare monthly lender compliance reports
• Prepare document support for external auditors and tax preparers
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Perform other related duties, as assigned
• Regulatory filings and related compliance reporting:
• Provide financials and tax packages to tax CPA
• Prepare Information Reporting (Form 1099, state nonresident withholding, Statement of Information)
• Prepare other tax compliance (e.g., business tax, franchise tax, annual registration fees)

Professional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, Accounting or Finance
• Accounting experience preferred; new graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Excellent quantitative/analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
