Senior Accountant

They’re looking to bring on a Senior Accountant who can step in, take ownership, and operate with a high level of accountability from day one.

Position Overview

This role sits at the core of the accounting function and will be responsible for owning key financial processes end-to-end. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on, values accuracy, and can operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the close process, including preparing entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial activity
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all records are complete and accurate
• Oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense tracking
• Strengthen and maintain accounting processes and internal controls
• Work closely with teams across the business to ensure clean and reliable financial data
• Assist with audit coordination and required documentation
• Utilize and improve systems such as QuickBooks, BILL, and related tools

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility over time
• CPA preferred
• Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Background in fast-paced or evolving environments where adaptability is key
• Experience supporting audits or compliance processes
• Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, etc.)
• Someone who is organized, detail-focused, and takes pride in clean work
• Must be able to work fully on-site in Santa Monica
