What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage the design and delivery of transportation projects for local and regional government clients, including roadway, sidewalk, intersection, and multimodal improvements
• Serve as Project Manager for assigned projects, responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination
• Prepare and oversee the development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) in accordance with FDOT and local standards
• Coordinate with public agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities
• Conduct and/or oversee traffic analysis, safety studies, and roadway geometry design

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 6+ years of experience in civil/transportation engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Demonstrated experience in project management for municipal or county transportation projects
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards, the Florida Design Manual (FDM), MUTCD, and local agency design criteria
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or similar design software
