Project Manager (SECRET) (REMOTE)

About this role

Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Manager with an active Secret Clearance to support KET and our government customer. The position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple software development teams.
• Responsible for application performance, innovation, and integration across internal and external applications.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders, QA, and support teams to deliver customer-focused interfaces.
• Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with subject matter experts, developers, and other technical staff to develop and track release milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together.
• Develop a plan and schedule with well-defined milestones.
• Own release schedules in our fast-paced environment.
• Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and to the government customer; escalate issues as necessary.
• Assess the quality of releases through monitoring of incoming bugs and code changes to identify quality issues and trends.
• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
• Evaluate business requirements and design secure technical solutions that balance business requirements with technical and cybersecurity requirements.
• Present routinely to government management or at workshops on project progress and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• A minimum of 8 years of work-related experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 3+ years of Agile experience leading software development teams
