The Project Manager will work directly with the Fisch Group Principal to support the coordination and execution of projects from pre-construction through completion, acting on behalf of the owner. This role involves close collaboration with ownership, design teams, contractors, and consultants to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with overall project objectives. Location: New York, NY (Hybrid — remote work with weekly site visits in the New York metro area)

Pay: $60,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for project-related matters
  • Coordinate across ownership, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Maintain alignment among all parties and facilitate decision-making
  • Identify risks and issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Help run regular project meetings
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes
  • Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders
  • Track and follow up on action items

Schedule & Budget Management

  • Help develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Monitor progress and address delays as needed
  • Coordinate sequencing of work across multiple trades and stakeholders
  • Track project costs against approved budgets
  • Review and evaluate pricing for changes or additional work
  • Assist in forecasting and identifying potential cost impacts

Documentation & Change Management

  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes and action logs
  • Prepare regular updates summarizing progress, risks, and key items
