Project Manager – Commercial Furniture & Interiors

Workplace Interiors is looking for a Project Manager to join our Buffalo team and help bring great spaces to life across Western New York.

You’ll work with companies, colleges, K–12 schools, and government organizations throughout the greater Buffalo area, supporting our sales, design, and installation teams from initial planning through project completion. Each client and space brings something different, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships, and seeing the results of their work firsthand.

About the Role

One day you may be walking a corporate office with a client and reviewing installation plans. The next, you could be coordinating a classroom furniture delivery or meeting with a college’s facilities team to prepare for an upcoming project.

You’ll help keep schedules, budgets, and people aligned, making sure our team has the information it needs and our clients know what to expect. When plans change, you’ll work with the team to find a solution and keep the project moving.

This position includes daily travel throughout the greater Buffalo area for client meetings, site visits, and installation coordination.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with sales and design to establish project scope, budgets, schedules, and installation requirements.
• Review furniture plans and project documents with the team to identify questions and resolve details before delivery.
• Work with project coordination and manufacturers to stay ahead of lead times, shipping updates, and outstanding items.
• Coordinate deliveries and installations with clients, contractors, facilities teams, and our warehouse and installation crews.
• Confirm site readiness, building access, and delivery requirements so installations are well planned.
• Keep clients and the internal team informed about progress, decisions, and schedule changes.
