Assistant Project Manager (Admin Role)

About this role

Essential Functions:

Duties of this position include but limited to:

· Review materials purchased as per specification

· Submit submittals for accuracy to clients for approval

· Log approvals from design team and process the release

· Handle equipment logistics and tracking

· Communicates with Warehouse Managers regarding inventory

· Providing access for inventory for deliveries

· Ensure that the equipment deliveries meet the work schedule

· Work directly with sketchers, sub-contractors to build the job

· Communicate the staff count to the Foreman to ensure that we have appropriate staffing

· Ensure all equipment is available for use

· Directly communicate with clients regarding scheduling, equipment releases

· Communicate with contracted Project Managers for subcontractor work

· Cost analysis for any change in design and submit a proposal to clients and subcontractors

· Credits and adds are submitted (Change order) to client

· Negotiate and change the buyout order with the client

· Touch base with foreman on site to ensure they have proper equipment, issues and schedules are on time

· Communicate with clients regarding the current schedule or any delays

· Daily tracking progress

· Executing inspections or formalize tasks associated with the job

· Submit and evaluate monthly payment requisitions

· Prepare all final documents for the jobs by emailing all the vendors, operation manuals

· Go through punch lists with design team

· Schedule and coordinate fixing any deficiencies found

· Submit close out documents and final billing

· Back up to front desk admin
