The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of construction projects from turnover through closeout. The PM leads communication between the owner, design team, subcontractors, vendors, and internal CMC departments while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CMC quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning & Coordination
- Manage all phases of construction projects from turnover through final completion.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
- Participate in project handoff meetings with Preconstruction and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
- Ensure all project documentation is current, accurate, and properly distributed.
Financial Management
- Develop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Monitor project financial performance
- Prepare and manage owner pay applications.
- Review and approve subcontractor pay applications.
- Manage project change orders and cost impacts.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with leadership.
Schedule Management
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules.
