About the Opportunity:
This organization is developing a super app to help Americans manage their two most expensive and difficult-to-manage assets: their car and home. The app covers insurance, financing, repairs, and maintenance, addressing a $5 trillion+ market. The People Operations Associate role is critical to supporting the employee experience and contributing to the organization''s growth.
Responsibilities:
• Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding and managing transitions
• Plan, organize, and execute company-wide and team events, including offsites and virtual gatherings, to build culture in a remote-first environment
• Draft and distribute internal communications such as newsletters and company updates
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems; handle administrative tasks like I-9 verification, benefits administration, and employment verification letters
• Identify and implement process improvements in People Operations workflows using AI and automation tools
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
• Experience or interest in HR or People Operations, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced settings
• Resourceful, proactive, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
