About the RoleThe Guwa-Koa Aboriginal Corporation (GKAC) is seeking an experienced and values-driven Operations Manager to lead the establishment and development of its operational capability.

This is a rare opportunity to play a foundational leadership role, building systems, structures and teams from the ground up to support the long-term vision of the Koa People. Reporting to the Chairperson and Board of Directors, the Operations Manager will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into practical, sustainable organisational outcomes.

**About Guwa-Koa Aboriginal Corporation GKAC was established to represent the Koa People following the formal recognition of native title over approximately 8,678 square kilometres in North-West Queensland.

Key Responsibilities** 
As Operations Manager, you will:

• Establish and implement the organisation’s operational framework, including structures, policies, systems and processes
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and development of key staff to build organisational capability
• Develop and deliver operational plans aligned with GKAC’s strategic objectives
• Establish systems across finance, procurement, communications and record-keeping
