Staff Accountant – Real Estate Platform

In this role, you'll partner with senior leadership to uphold the accuracy of financial records across every entity, participate in the monthly close cycle, and help generate reports that owners, investors, lenders, and advisors depend on for critical decision-making.

This hands-on position suits someone with real estate accounting fundamentals who wants to broaden their skills across a complex, multi-entity portfolio. You'll be exposed directly to construction accounting, institutional-grade reporting, and family office functions.

What You'll Do

*Close Process & Financial Reporting*

• Help drive the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across all entities, projects under construction, and mature properties — keeping financials accurate and on schedule
• Help draft internal financial statements — P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and variance analyses — at both the property and consolidated levels
• Assist with investor reports, capital account statements, and distribution waterfall math for partnerships and joint ventures
• Help keep the consolidated financial view accurate across ownership layers, including intercompany eliminations and family office reporting

*Property & Lease Accounting*

• Help manage property-level bookkeeping for the stabilized portfolio — rent rolls, CAM true-ups, tenant charges, and lease abstracts
• Apply ASC 842 lease standards to commercial, residential, and hospitality properties with senior team oversight
• Help review property financial packages before they go out to ownership and asset management
