Medicaid Project Manager (Remote)

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Medicaid Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.


This role will lead cross-functional project execution for healthcare-related initiatives, with a strong focus on Medicaid frameworks and operational workflows. You will partner closely with stakeholders to keep complex workstreams aligned, identify risks early, and drive timely resolution across multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to navigate layered organizational environments while keeping deliverables on track.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $145,600 – $166,400 annually


Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive project plans for healthcare projects
• Identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks promptly
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
• Compile and communicate weekly project status updates to stakeholders
• Develop mitigation strategies for project challenges and communicate them effectively
• Refine project deliverables based on stakeholder feedback
• Propose and communicate process improvements as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience, particularly within Medicaid frameworks
• Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and operational workflows
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and workstreams
• Exceptional client-facing skills and stakeholder management experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
