About The Role
We are seeking an experienced product designer to craft the healthcare product experiences of today and tomorrow. Design plays a critical role here. You’ll create products that are easy to use, beautiful, and push the boundaries of what’s possible to enable the healthcare system to deliver better care and hundreds of millions of people to lead healthier lives. You’ll help chart our course into the future, shaping our product direction and design culture.


In This Role, You Will

  • Contribute to the overall design and product direction of OpenAI products.
  • Design and ship high-quality products and improvements, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, AI research, and design peers to define both long-term strategy and short-term tactics.
  • Engage in user research to better understand our users (patients, clinicians, consumers that want to improve their health) and refine our products.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system.
  • Help establish our design culture and grow our team.
  • Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to practical, high quality solutions.
