A highly profitable High Frequency Trading firm specialising in cryptocurrency markets is looking for a Junior Software Developer Rust - HFT. You will design and develop backend services for real-time risk, pricing, trading engines, and market-making systems. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle within a small, talented engineering team.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing backend services for real-time trading systems

• Building low latency risk and pricing engines using Rust

• Developing market-making systems across the full software lifecycle

• Collaborating with a specialist team to solve complex technical challenges

• Optimising systems for high throughput and performance

What we're looking for

• Academic background with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science from a leading university

• Professional experience in backend multithreaded software engineering

• Practical development experience using Rust

• Knowledge of high throughput and low latency system architecture

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
