Junior Software Engineer

The Role

• Contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications
• Translate business requirements into functional software solutions through collaboration with stakeholders and senior engineers
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code and supporting documentation
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Support integrations between internal systems, cloud platforms, and third-party applications
• Provide occasional production support for critical business systems

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of software development experience (employment, internships, co-op programs, academic, or personal projects)
• Foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic database design concepts
• Exposure to source control systems such as Git
