Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and leadership-driven HVAC Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day service, installation, dispatch, and operational activities in our London, Ontario location. This role is responsible for leading field technicians, managing workflow, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HVAC service and installation operations
- Manage, mentor, and support HVAC technicians and administrative staff
- Maintain and optimize staffing schedules, dispatching, and workload planning
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and fleet management
- Resolve escalated customer issues and support customer service excellence
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and departmental planning
- Develop and implement operational processes and improvements
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC industry operations, service management, or leadership
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Experience managing teams in a service-based environment
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling, dispatch, or CRM software
- Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Assets (Optional)
- HVAC trade certification (G2, 313D, 313A, or similar)
- Project management experience
- Experience in estimating, quoting, or job costing
- Training in health & safety (WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.)
