POSITION OVERVIEW

Blackrock Strategy is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead, develop, and execute human-resources strategies that support organizational goals and enhance employee experience.

This role oversees HR operations, recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance programs, and workforce development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational goals.
* Lead full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
* Manage employee-relations matters, providing guidance to employees and leaders.
* Oversee performance-management programs including evaluations and coaching.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation.
* Administer employee benefits programs.
* Lead training and development initiatives.
* Support compensation planning and salary reviews.
* Maintain HR metrics and analytics.
* Promote employee engagement and organizational values.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
* Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar HR leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance‑management processes.
* Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and documentation abilities with attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

* HR certifications such as SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
* Experience supporting multi‑location or rapidly growing organizations.
* Background in training, organizational development, or change‑management initiatives.
* Experience developing HR metrics, dashboards, or workforce‑analytics tools.

Work Environment

* Fully on-site position at Blackrock Strategy's Huntsville, Alabama headquarters.
* Standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
* Regular interaction with employees, applicants, visitors, and internal and external stakeholders.
* Daily use of computers, HR information systems, electronic records, and standard office equipment.
* Work requires the ability to manage multiple administrative priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness.
* Occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on business or operational needs.
