A leading global hedge fund is seeking a
Head of Operations Transformation & Automation
to lead the modernization of its operational environment and build a highly automated, scalable operating model.

This is a senior leadership position sitting at the intersection of
Operations, Technology, Data and AI
. The successful candidate will take ownership of the transformation agenda across investment and fund operations, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual activity and deploy automation and AI at scale.

The role requires someone who understands the complexity of a sophisticated hedge fund operating environment but can also challenge existing processes and fundamentally rethink how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and execute the firm-wide
Operations Transformation & Automation strategy
.
- Develop a multi-year transformation roadmap covering process redesign, automation, data and AI.
- Review front-to-back operational processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation.
- Lead transformation across areas including
trade operations, reconciliations, settlements, collateral, corporate actions, cash management, NAV oversight, reference data and regulatory operations
.
- Drive significant reductions in manual processing and operational risk through intelligent automation.
- Identify and implement use cases for
AI, machine learning, workflow automation and RPA
, including emerging opportunities using generative and agentic AI.
- Partner closely with the
COO, CTO/CIO, Operations leadership, Engineering, Data, Risk and investment teams
.
- Build robust business cases for transformation initiatives and establish measurable targets covering efficiency, scalability, controls and ROI.
