Guidewire Business Analyst - Policy Center
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid/Onsite Preferred) | Remote (U.S.)

We’re looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst (Policy Center) to join our P&C Insurance team. The ideal candidate will lead requirement workshops, support Policy Center enhancements, and collaborate across Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Guidewire Certified Associate - Policy Center (Required)
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• 3+ years hands-on Guidewire Policy Center experience
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance (Policy Lifecycle, Submissions, Quotes, Changes, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements)
• Experience writing User Stories, Functional Requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows
• Agile/Scrum experience
• JIRA & Confluence
• Excellent communication + stakeholder management
• Strong analytical & problem‑solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather & document business requirements for Policy Center initiatives
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and workflows
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers & QA
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT & production deployments
• Perform impact analysis & assist with defect triage
• Coordinate with integration teams for downstream systems
• Create business workflows & training materials

Preferred Skills:

• Guidewire ACE certification
• Guidewire Cloud Platform
• Billing Center / Claim Center integration knowledge
• REST APIs (functional understanding)
• SQL (basic querying)
• SAFe Agile
