The Role

We're looking for a Founding AI Engineer to own the full AI stack at Journify. Everything we build on top of LLMs - from the prompts, to the context we assemble, to the evaluations that tell us whether it's actually working, to the guardrails that keep students and educators safe - will be yours.

You'll work directly with our Co-Founder & CTO to bring frontier AI capabilities into Journify while holding a high bar for responsible AI in a sensitive domain. Special education involves real students, real disability categories, and real legal requirements - which means world-class evaluations and guardrails aren't a nice-to-have, they're the product.
