THE ROLE

New Metric Media is seeking a Financial Analyst to help propel the company into its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Reporting, you'll thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and be ready to wear multiple hats as the organization evolves. You'll play an integral role on our accounting and finance team, working closely with the executive, business and legal affairs, production, sales, marketing, and commercial teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Production

• General production accounting responsibilities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
• Assist with tax credit estimates, cash flow models, and finance plans for productions in development and pre-production.
• Help track production spending against cash flow forecasts and flag variances for review.
• Support preparation of production cost reports and related analysis for finance and production leadership.
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables required by banks, broadcasters, auditors, CRA, and funding agencies (CMF, NOHFC, and others).
• Help consolidate production-level financials into corporate reporting and the long-range plan.
