Role : DevOps Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Location : San Antonio,TX (Hybrid)
Duration : Long term Contract 12+ months
Qualifications:
- Extensive working experience in Python, Ansible, and JavaScript programming.
- Experience building APIs and services (REST, SOAP) and automating infrastructure workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (AWS and Azure environments).
- Advanced working knowledge on AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and GitHub Actions.
- Experience building fully automated provisioning pipelines for VMs, including post-deployment tasks (extensions, DSC, Ansible playbooks).
- Familiarity with vRA/vRO server build automation and cloud-native alternatives.
- Strong background in Agile methodology, continuous improvement, and iterative development.
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, cloud networking basics (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), and infrastructure security best practices.
- Strong Windows OS administration and scripting skills
Must Have:
- Extensive experience with Python, JavaScript and Ansible.
- Experience in Terraform development.
- Experience in CI/CD, GitHub/Git-Repo.
Nice to Have:
- Strong Knowledge of developing AWS and Azure AMIs.
- Very Good knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating System.
