For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist 5 - Personalization Algorithms Performance to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $372,000 – $600,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Leverage experimentation and causal inference to generate actionable insights
- Build robust metrics and measurement frameworks for decision-making
- Cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders across the business
- Ensure high-quality outputs that influence the company’s strategic decisions
- Explore trends in content discovery to identify future opportunities
- Drive independent projects with a focus on personalization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of relevant data science experience
- Expertise in experimental design and causal inference
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and adapt to ambiguity
