Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support scientific informatics, biologics R&D workflows, and data operations centred around Dotmatics LUMA and related laboratory informatics systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality data pipelines that connect scientific applications, laboratory systems, and enterprise data platforms.
- This is a US-based position (mandatory) due to required collaboration and working-hour overlap with scientific, IT, and programme leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines across Dotmatics LUMA, Genedata Biologics, and other scientific data systems.
- Ensure reliable, traceable, and high-quality data flows supporting antibody research, biologics workflows, lab operations, and analytics.
- Work closely with antibody engineers, lab technicians, scientific users, and IT system leads to translate workflows into scalable engineering solutions.
- Support integration projects and data migration activities involving Genedata Biologics (GDB) and LUMA.
- Define data models, interoperability requirements, and workflow-aligned data transformations.
- Engage in ongoing technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including scientific informatics partners.
Required Skills & Experience – Must-Have
- Strong, hands-on data engineering expertise: pipeline creation, data modelling, ETL/ELT, integration engineering.
- Proven ability to collaborate with scientific users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Must be based in the United States to ensure required timezone overlap.
