As we expand into Bulgaria, we’re building a 
high-impact engineering team in Bulgaria
 – and we’re looking for Data Engineers who want to 
work hands-on with the latest Databricks ecosystem
 while shaping a new location from the ground up.

YOUR MISSION

As a 
Data Engineer (Azure / Databricks)
, you will:

- Design and implement 
modern data platforms on Databricks (Lakehouse architecture)
- Build scalable 
data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake
- Develop and deploy solutions using 
Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs)
 for CI/CD and reproducibility
- Implement 
data governance and access control with Unity Catalog
- Enable 
ML & AI workflows using MLflow and Databricks-native capabilities
- Build 
lightweight data applications (e.g., Streamlit)
 to expose insights to business users
- Work with 
Azure services
 such as Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure Storage
- Collaborate with international teams in 
end-to-end consulting projects (architecture → production)
- Take ownership of 
solution design and data products, not just pipelines
- Help 
build and mentor our Sofia-based team
 in a remote-first setup

WHAT YOU BRING

- Hands-on experience with 
Databricks (strong focus) and Azure
- Strong skills in 
Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Experience with 
Delta Lake and modern lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with:
- Unity Catalog (data governance)
- MLflow (ML lifecycle management)
