About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data & AI Engineer to join our Exposure and Vulnerability Management (EVM) team at Verizon. This role is pivotal in enhancing our cybersecurity posture through the development and deployment of advanced data systems and artificial intelligence models. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, creating insightful dashboards and reports, and developing AI-driven solutions to predict and prioritize cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding our infrastructure and ensuring our security measures are proactive and intelligent.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience in building data pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala are required, along with experience in developing AI models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
